Ms. Churairat Sangboonnum, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Thailand and Secretary-General, Thai National Commission for UNESCO shared with CBM that the Ministry of Education supports Education for All and Inclusive Education to ensure equality and education quality for everyone in Thailand. Although there are challenges in resources management and budget allocation.’Information and communications technology will play a vital role in supporting Inclusive Education. There are many new development which support persons with disabilities in learning and development, and the Ministry plans to work with other key stakeholders in order to utilising the technology to support Inclusive Education’, Ms.Churairat said.
Ms.Churairat also added that for Post-2015 Development Agenda, the Ministry of Education plans to be more active in supporting Inclusive Education and persons with disabilities in education and livelihood opportunities.
